EMBEDDED SYSTEM DESIGN USING KEIL (IDE) 

Workshop Objective

This workshop strives to open a portal towards the world of microcontrollers through one of the first ones to grace the market. The Intel masterpiece accelerated the use of microcontrollers in embedded systems all over the world and is an inevitable step in understanding the basics of what constitutes a microcontroller. This course is designed to pave the way for better understanding of the 8-bit Microcontroller thereby leading to a sound base in microcontrollers. Focus is primarily allotted to discussion and hands-on training on on-chip peripherals of 8-bit Microcontroller.

  • 8-bit Microcontroller: Architecture & Pin Diagram 

  • Introduction to KEIL Cross-Compiler & its features

  • Mapping 8-bit Microcontroller Architecture to Embedded C

  • Timer, Interrupts & Serial Programming Techniques
